Evening Cook Join our team at Avir at North Richland Hills, a premier healthcare provider in North Richland Hills, TX, as we seek a talented Evening Cook to join our dynamic team! About the Role: We are searching for a Dietary Cook who is resident-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. As an Evening Cook, you will prepare and cook high-quality foods for all regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and employees. You will ensure all preparation and cooking strictly adheres to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and established facility standards. Responsibilities: Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal Direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Previous office experience preferred Previous Nursing Home experience preferred Culinary and/or food service experience in a healthcare facility preferred Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: Competitive compensation Daily Pay - access your earned wages before payday! 401k with a match!
