Telecom Security Lead

Position Overview Lead Low‑Voltage Integrated Security Technician. Responsible for the installation, integration, and commissioning of advanced security systems in data center and high‑tech environments, including semiconductor facilities. Serves as a hands‑on leader, guiding technicians, executing installations, and ensuring work meets contractor and project standards. Key Responsibilities Lead installation of Access Control Systems, CCTV/Camera Systems, and Intrusion Detection Systems. Perform device installation, terminations, panel work, and system bring‑up. Ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and site standards. Act as lead technician on‑site, directing daily crew work, task management, labor coordination, and workflow execution. Mentor and guide junior technicians while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety. Participate in pre‑task planning, site walks, and ensure readiness of tools, materials, and manpower. Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and delays. Support Level 3‑4 commissioning activities, including system testing, validation, and troubleshooting. Install and support integration of core platforms (SeCore, Honeywell Pro‑Watch, Lenel S2, Bosch). Assist in maintaining material tracking, daily reports, progress updates, redlines, and installation documentation. Follow structured quality control and project tracking processes. Required Qualifications Strong hands‑on experience with Access Control, CCTV/video surveillance, and Intrusion Detection systems. Experience with at least one major platform (Lenel, Pro‑Watch, etc.) – multiple preferred. Field experience in data centers or other mission‑critical environments (preferred). Experience supporting Level 3–4 commissioning; understanding of testing and turnover processes. Ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and execute efficiently in the field. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Additional Skills & Certifications OSHA 10/30 certification. Manufacturer certifications (Lenel S2, Genetec, Bosch, Honeywell, etc.). Experience working under major general contractors in large‑scale builds. Strong work ethic, organized, process‑driven, adaptability to fast‑paced environments. Clear communication with field teams and leadership. Job Type & Location Contract position based in Tempe, AZ. Pay Hourly rate: $35.00 – $39.00/hr.
