SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

SHIFT SUPERVISOR Location: Eckerd College – 4200 54th Avenue South, Saint Petersburg, FL 33711. Schedule: Full time; days and hours may vary. Weekend and night open availability required. More details upon interview. Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide training and create work schedules. Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards. Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety. Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off. Serve as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous food service experience required. Previous supervisory experience and customer service experience preferred.
