Travel EP Tech

Travel EP Lab Tech Assist in electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac ablations, device implantations, and cardiac mapping within the EP lab. Responsible for patient preparation, operating lab equipment, monitoring responses, and maintaining safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments and document findings accurately Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care Support physicians during electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device placements Administer medications, including sedation, as ordered Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient responses, responding to changes Maintain sterile techniques and troubleshoot equipment Assist with post-procedure monitoring and care Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in reading instructions and PC skills Physical ability to move, lift, and assist with equipment Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively Preferred Qualifications Radiologic Technologist license PALS or ENPC certifications Additional Information Offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, licensure reimbursement, and support from a dedicated team.
