Position Overview The Sales Operations Specialist serves as a vital anchor for our daily business activities, splitting key responsibilities between backend sales enablement and front-office administration. This dual-function role requires an agile professional who can seamlessly transition from executing complex order workflows and supporting project logistics to serving as the polished, welcoming face of our local headquarters. Key Responsibilities Sales Operations & Logistics Support Order Administration: Author, process, and track Sales Orders and Purchase Orders to ensure accurate revenue pipeline management. Logistics Tracking: Monitor inbound and outbound materials to verify sales order fulfillment accuracy and maintain inventory integrity. Project Enablement: Partner directly with the Project Management Team to provide administrative tracking and ensure milestones are met. System Monitoring: Supervise internal ticketing systems to facilitate prompt customer support and efficient communication cycles. Office Management Reception & Communication: Greet, vet, and direct corporate visitors while professionally assisting with incoming phone traffic. Mail & Supply Logistics: Oversee the distribution of incoming mail and packages, manage employee supply requests, and maintain optimum inventory levels. Special Projects: Spearhead ad-hoc administrative initiatives as assigned by senior leadership. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales support, office administration, or customer operations. Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel). Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; corporate training or college-level coursework preferred. Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Location: Candidates must reside within a 15-mile radius of the Wauconda, IL facility.
