Sales Lead Generation Analyst

Position Type: Full time Compensation: $52,200.00 - $69,000.00 per year Location: Broadway Plaza - 15 1st Street, Rochester, MN 55902 Schedule: The general schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm *Schedules may change based on business needs. May include holidays and alternate workdays or hours as needed.

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Lead Generation Analyst is responsible for identifying, researching, qualifying, and maintaining prospective customer leads to support business development and sales objectives. This entry-level role utilizes various research methods, outreach channels, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects. The analyst gathers and verifies customer information, documents interactions, and provides actionable insights that support sales growth and customer acquisition efforts. What you’ll be doing: * Research, identify, and qualify prospective customers through various lead generation channels. * Conduct outreach activities to gather information, assess customer needs, and determine sales potential.

• Verify and validate lead data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Maintain and update customer and prospect information within CRM systems.
• Document customer interactions, feedback, and key business intelligence to

support sales activities. * Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities.

• Assist in executing lead generation campaigns and prospecting initiatives.
• Monitor lead activity and provide regular updates on lead status and

conversion progress. * Support trade shows, networking events, promotional activities, and other business development initiatives as assigned. * Follow established processes and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position does not supervise any employees.
• May also provide cross-training for staff.

Travel: * This position could require minimal travel, up to 5% of the time.

ABOUT YOU:

What you’ll bring: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 1 - 2 years of experience in lead generation, sales support, customer service, marketing, or a related field. * Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems, preferred. * Exposure to business development, prospecting, or customer acquisition activities, preferred. • Ability to work independently while following established guidelines and

procedures. Competencies: * Lead Generation – Identifies, researches, and develops qualified prospects through various channels to build and maintain a pipeline of potential sales opportunities. * Qualifying Prospects – Evaluates prospective customers by assessing needs, interest, fit, and buying potential to determine sales readiness. * Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – Maintains accurate and organized customer and prospect information, documents interactions, and leverages CRM tools to support sales activities and reporting. * Information Gathering – Collects, verifies, analyzes, and organizes data from multiple sources to support prospect qualification and informed business decisions. * Communication and Outreach – Effectively engages prospects through professional verbal and written communication to gather information, build relationships, and support lead conversion efforts. Work Environment:

• Work is typically performed in an office or remote office environment.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
• May require occasional attendance at trade shows, networking events, customer

meetings, or promotional activities. * Work is performed under close supervision with clearly defined processes and procedures. Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and

telephone.

• Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by telephone.
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 15 pounds on an occasional

basis.
