Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical and Telemetry

Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical and Telemetry

Schedule: Every other weekend (average of 6 weekends per 13-week contract) Major holidays: Expected to work if 1 major holiday falls during assignment, and if 2 or 3 major holidays fall during assignment, expected to work 2 of them

Requirements: RN licensure: GA or Compact license required Minimum 1 year RN experience Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH (NIHSS) Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia recognition Stepdown/PCU care and monitoring skills

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide patient care for adults to geriatrics in Med/Surg, MS-Telemetry, and PCU units. Monitor and assess patients, responding to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 24 hours (NBO hours determined by contract length) All compliance documents due by Tuesday prior to start Full compliance required to start on time
