Vacancy Name Vacancy Name Business Development Manager Vacancy No Vacancy No VN644 Employment Type Employment Type Full-Time Location Location Harrogate Type of Vacancy Type of Vacancy Permanent Job Description Developing new business relationships (either from leads generated personally (cold calling) or by the Marketing team): making follow up calls, conducting new business presentations, making customer visits etc Construct and implement key account plans for new customers Monitor and maintain customers to ensure consistent delivery of business within targets Facilitating and participating in business negotiations on behalf of Redcentric, providing best practice advice to all customers Liaising with all appropriate contacts both internally and externally to ensure that negotiations/deals progress smoothly. Internal contacts include Sales support, Accounts, Divisional Directors, Main Board Directors, Technical Consultants. External contacts will vary with each deal Working to achieve both individual and team targets (agreed) within budgetary constraints Updating and maintaining the Redcentric CRM system in line with the Sales process. Producing monthly forecast reports and statistics, as required by the Divisional Director Adhering to Redcentric procedures and completing necessary documentation Adherence to Redcentric Solutions Limited ISO09001 and ISO27001 certification standards: Compliance with Redcentric’s policies and procedures Handling and protection of Redcentric information Reporting of security events Implementing appropriate policies and procedures Who are we looking for? The role requires an individual who is capable of quickly gaining sound product and company knowledge and further developing their already excellent and proven sales skills (from lead generation and new business presentations through to complex negotiations). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consistently achieving their targets (and will be able to demonstrate this) in end user sales, ideally gained within a telecoms/managed services environment and will have experience of selling both directly to end users and via Business Partners. They will have experience in developing new revenue streams by winning new customers of all sizes/profiles and across multiple sectors.
