Ground Support Equipment Mechanic

SUMMARY The Vehicle Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all vehicles and ground support equipment at the AAR facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with the Vehicle Maintenance Foreman to set priorities of equipment repair. Perform assigned duties in a safe and timely manner. Report any suspected abuse of equipment to Vehicle Maintenance Foreman. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training. Experience in the repair of automotive and diesel engines, hydraulic and airbrake systems, single and multi-axle vehicles, transmissions, hydraulic systems for forklifts and man lifts and electrical systems.
