Brand Marketing Manager
$70k - $80kContigo Catering
Contigo Catering is one of Austin's premier catering and event companies, delivering exceptional culinary experiences for corporate events, weddings, private gatherings, and community celebrations throughout Central Texas. We've built our reputation on outstanding food, flawless execution, and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for every client and guest. As we continue to grow, we're investing in our brand, our marketing capabilities, and the customer experience to further strengthen our position as the market leader.
We're looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager who is excited by the challenge of building a beloved local brand, telling compelling stories, and creating meaningful connections with customers, partners, and the broader Austin community. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth for one of Austin's most respected hospitality brands.
We're looking for a marketer who understands that great brands are built through storytelling, customer experiences, and consistent execution. You'll work directly with the leadership team to elevate the Contigo brand, increase awareness, generate demand, and create marketing programs that drive measurable business results. This role is ideal for someone with experience in consumer-facing, brand-led businesses who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
Location
Austin, Texas. This role works out of our office and kitchen facilities in Southeast Austin, and involves travel to and presence at various event spaces throughout and around Central Texas, including corporate venues, wedding locations, and community event spaces. Reliable transportation is required. Occasional travel to off-site events and activations around the region may also be required.
Schedule
Full-time, salaried position. Standard business hours with flexibility required to support events, activations, and networking functions. Evening and weekend availability is required on occasion, particularly around major events and seasonal peaks.
Compensation
The salary for this position is $70,000–$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This role also features incredible benefits: health & dental, mileage and parking reimbursements, discretionary bonuses, swag, and more. PTO is available.
Day-to-Day Ownership
This is an opportunity to impact and elevate the entire company on a daily basis. The Brand & Marketing Manager's day-to-day will reflect current events and ongoing priorities, but can generally be designated within and held accountable to the following:
Outcomes
Build the Brand
● Help define and strengthen the Contigo brand across all customer touchpoints.
● Ensure consistency across digital, social, print, event, and partner channels.
● Develop messaging and positioning that clearly communicate what makes Contigo unique.

● Create content that showcases our people, food, events, clients, and culture.
● Develop customer success stories, event recaps, and brand campaigns.
● Coordinate photography, videography, and content creation efforts.

● Manage social media, email marketing, website content, and digital presence.
● Track campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Lead Brand Activation
● Design and execute brand activations that create memorable customer experiences.
● Build relationships with venues, event planners, corporate clients, and community partners.
● Represent Contigo at industry events, networking functions, and community activities.
Support Business Growth
● Partner closely with sales leadership to support lead generation and customer acquisition efforts.
● Help identify new opportunities to expand market awareness and strengthen customer engagement.
● Manage external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners as needed.
Characteristics & Skills
Characteristic or Skill
Summary of What's Expected
Brand Builder
You understand what makes a brand distinct and you know how to bring it to life consistently across every channel and touchpoint — from social media to a live event activation.
Data-Driven
You don't shy away from campaign metrics, engagement data, or booking analytics. You use numbers to guide decisions and demonstrate the value of marketing investment.
Proactive & Self-Motivated
You prioritize independently and take action without waiting to be asked. You see opportunities to strengthen the brand or drive leads, and you go after them.
Storyteller
You craft content that resonates — from a compelling event recap to a social post that captures our culture. You know how to tell Contigo's story in ways that connect emotionally and drive action.
Relationship Builder
You build genuine connections with clients, venue partners, event planners, and community organizations. You represent Contigo with warmth and professionalism, and you know that relationships are the foundation of a great brand.
Detail-Oriented
Brand consistency matters to you. You notice when a caption doesn't match the tone, when a photo is off-brand, or when a campaign asset needs refinement — and you take the initiative to make it right.
Finisher
You finish campaigns, projects, and activations that you start — and over-deliver on expectations. You don't leave things half-done, and you follow through on commitments to the team and to partners.
Quality-focused
You don't publish content or launch campaigns until they're right. You hold yourself to a high standard and strive to build processes that prevent errors from repeating in the future.
Hands-On Executor
You're equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to write copy, coordinate a photo shoot, or set up a brand activation at an event. You don't wait for others to execute — you get it done.
Strong organizational skills
You juggle multiple campaigns, channels, vendors, and deadlines without dropping the ball. You have systems for everything and keep projects moving efficiently, even when priorities shift.
Excellent planner
You plan campaigns, content calendars, and brand activations well in advance, while remaining agile enough to respond to real-time opportunities. You hit deadlines and help the team stay ahead of key moments and milestones.
Outgoing & Mindful
You're comfortable representing Contigo in a variety of settings — from industry networking events to community partnerships — and you communicate with warmth and professionalism. Our clients and partners feel valued, not like a transaction.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
5–7 years of marketing experience in a consumer-facing or brand-led business. Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, lifestyle, or events is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience planning and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, digital, events) with measurable results.
Exceptional organization, communication, and project management skills. Able to manage multiple priorities, vendors, and creative partners while maintaining a high standard of quality across all outputs.
Passion for storytelling, customer experience, and brand building. You believe great brands are built through consistent, meaningful connections — and you love creating those moments.
Ability to integrate into the culture of Contigo Catering and be a genuine ambassador for this brand no matter where you are.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends for events, activations, and networking functions in accordance with business needs.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and manage digital tools, platforms, and communication systems effectively
Ability to attend and actively participate in events, activations, and networking functions, including standing for extended periods during events
Ability to travel to event venues, partner locations, and community events throughout the Austin metro area and Central Texas region
Ability to set up and manage brand activations and event installations, which may occasionally require light lifting or physical setup at event spaces.

We encourage everyone of differing abilities to apply, but while doing so, please let us know what accommodations are required in your working environment.

We particularly encourage individuals who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQ+ to apply.
The responsibilities and duties listed above are intended to communicate general priorities for this position, but should not be understood as an exhaustive list of all job requirements to be completed through the duration of employment with Contigo Catering.
What to Expect After Applying
We review all applications received. If your materials spark interest, we'll send you a brief questionnaire.
If your responses are promising, we'll send you a link to an Aptive Index Assessment. This brief 5-10 minute survey allows us to round out your submitted materials and convene as a team to decide which candidates might be a good fit.
If all of your materials above all seem to align and are promising, we'll invite you to an initial, 15-minute phone screening with the HR manager.
If this conversation also shows alignment, promising candidates will be invited to participate in a full-length interview that lasts approximately 2-3 hours, with the leadership team, including our CEO.
All candidates, whether good or bad news, will receive some form of notice regardless of which stage of the process they progress to.
The above steps move at a pace that aligns with candidate response time, team availability, and other components. Generally speaking, we are looking to make a hire as soon as we identify the right fit. We expect to make a hire by WHEN at the latest, though details of our timeline are subject to change.
