As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter incidents, remain visible throughout the location, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns.
• Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and notifying appropriate personnel when issues arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
