Shipping Associate

Responsibilities Supports the day-to-day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining a safe, orderly environment. Safety Requirements This is a safety-sensitive position; maintaining constant awareness and safe practices is essential. Candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug test screening for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine in accordance with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code. Ability to read orders and match shipping tickets to selected items. Basic math and reasoning skills. Certification for power-truck equipment. Skill in operating inventory control equipment such as bar-coding devices and handheld scanners. Physical Requirements Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Able to work in extreme temperature warehouse conditions. Position requires significant time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing. May need to climb ladders for top-level selection. Requires close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision; ability to adjust focus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
