Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts per week | Full-time and 48-hour applicants welcome

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess laboring patients, fetal status, and maternal well-being throughout the birthing process
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
• Float to Postpartum unit as needed to support patient care continuity
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Labor and Delivery clinical experience
• BLS and other required certifications as applicable to OB nursing
• Ability to float to Postpartum (PP) as needed
• Willingness to work night shift in a travel assignment capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience in Postpartum nursing to support float requirements
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and workflows
