Contract to Hire: St.Louis, Missouri, US

Salary Range: 60.00 - 65.00 | Per Hour

Pay Range: $ 60 - 65/hr

MUST HAVES

  • 7+ years of experience with a strong software engineering foundation and recent focus on DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and GitHub in a cloud-based environment
  • Strong automation and scripting experience (language flexible, but must have solid coding background)
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Datadog or similar
  • Experience working with infrastructure as code and modern platform engineering concepts
DAY TO DAY
  • Develop and implement automation tools to detect anomalies and prevent production incidents
  • Build and enhance platform capabilities using Azure, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve observability, monitoring, and system reliability (e.g., Datadog or similar tools)
  • Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code and scripts to streamline operations and troubleshooting
  • Participate in problem-solving sessions, including whiteboarding and designing solutions to improve system performance and resiliency
