Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- 2250 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wyoming license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >25 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Cheyenne Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Uses Epic. Nurse:patient ratios are Day 1:4-5, Night 1:5-6. Patient population includes respiratory, infection, wounds, diabetic, GI, drug and alcohol withdrawal, and suicidal ideation. RNs titrate insulin and heparin drips. Telemetry monitoring is on the unit; techs read strips from a different location. RT equipment includes High Flow, BiPap, and Cpap.

Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling and block scheduling allowed. 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; day shift is Saturday or Sunday, night shift is Friday or Saturday. Every other holiday. No call.

Floating Requirements: Can float to other Med/Surg units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
