Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to support warehouse operations, including inventory movement, material handling, and order picking. You play a key role in loading and unloading products while maintaining accuracy and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize materials and products.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas while protecting product quality.
• Perform material handling tasks such as staging, relocating, and replenishing inventory as directed.
• Pick orders accurately and efficiently to support production goals and customer requirements.
• Support inventory activities by moving and placing products in correct locations to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment by collaborating and working cohesively with coworkers.

Essential Skills:

• Proven ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and effectively.
• Experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong material handling skills, including loading, unloading, and staging products.
• Ability to perform accurate picking and inventory-related tasks.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate work within a team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

• Previous experience in inventory support within a warehouse or production setting.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work cohesively with others.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Walton, KY.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
