Clinical Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) New York, NY

A Clinical Nurse in the Cardiac Interventional Unit (Cardiac Cath Lab) provides safe, competent, quality patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, patient education, coordination with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift (6:30AM7PM) with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Cardiac Cath Lab experience; minimum 2 years of telemetry and Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience; minimum 2 years of RN experience. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Charge nurse duties may be assigned.
  • Day shift coverage; no weekends.
  • Operations include coordinating supply/inventory needs, addressing material or staffing resource deficits as needed, and facilitating patient throughput.
