Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT licensure in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs and IDEA compliance
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Ability to work independently and manage a part-time caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for OT services
• Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
• Document sessions, progress, and maintain accurate records according to district standards
• Support teachers with classroom modifications, behavioral strategies, and adaptive equipment
• Provide consultation and training to staff and parents, fostering carryover of strategies
