Overview Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology, located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, is open for a travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. This hospital-based role features a 4x10 Days shift with a weekly pay range of $2,688 to $2,877. Guaranteed hours are 72 hours biweekly. This assignment requires IR-specific RN competencies and active engagement with the IR team throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,688–$2,877 Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Days Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit Orientation: Biweekly Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care for Interventional Radiology patients across pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases Monitor telemetry and hemodynamics, administer medications and contrast per protocol, and ensure patient safety during procedures Prepare, assist with, and document IR procedures; maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices Provide post-procedure recovery, monitor for complications, and participate in discharge planning and patient education Maintain accurate charting of assessments, interventions, and outcomes; coordinate with the IR team and physicians Promote infection control, safety protocols, and vigilant patient advocacy during high‑acuity procedures Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience Current American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS certification required Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam; pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests during onboarding Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests administered prior to assignment; passing score 85% on the first attempt Onboarding tests to be completed within 48 hours of confirmation Orientation is biweekly; no local travel within 50 miles of the facility (must reside outside 50 miles) Ability to work in an IR setting and participate in a travel assignment as described Benefits and Support Credentialing coordination and onboarding support for required tests Biweekly orientation to align with assignment needs Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Payroll and scheduling support to ensure timely pay and accurate scheduling 24/7 support for travel staff and ongoing assignment‑related assistance Access to safety, clinical resources, and ongoing professional development opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
