Temporary Medical Assistants Wanted

Currently hiring temporary Medical Assistants for a local University in New Haven. These are temp assignments--great way to get more experience and showcase your skills!

You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical department running smoothly. Please indicate if you have EPIC experience!

Responsibilities:

• Room patients, vital signs, EKG. Patient histories.
• Collect specimens.
• Retrieves laboratory test results and patient files.
• Maintains medical equipment.
• Records all patient information into EPIC

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant by the AAMA - if you are not certified please note if you can sit for the certification/registration within 90 days of employment**
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• 2-3 years working as a Medical Assistant
• Strong organizational skills
• Epic experience preferred but not required.
