Position Summary Responsible for truck loading and customer service while abiding by all MSHA safety regulations, Safe Feed Safe Food/Safe Quality Feed (SFSF/SQF) quality systems, and company policies. Responsibilities & Expectations Truck Loading: Weigh trucks in and out of plant, track weight information, enter data accurately, load bulk trucks with minimal overloads and reloads, identify correct material products, ensure correct product and weight is loaded, inspect trucks per SFSF and quality systems, take quality samples. Customer Service: Greet and direct truck drivers upon exit of the scale house, perform data entry and answer phones as needed, assist site leaders with assigned tasks. Safety: Ensure truck drivers conduct business safely, maintain general upkeep of the scale house, report operational or safety problems to management, perform daily workplace exams (WPE) to MSHA standards. General Duties: Operate JWS, Transwide, and BOL, slide tickets, notify office on low inventory of shipping supplies, reset shipping area breakers, cross‑train in plant production process flow, illustrate quality competence on testing procedures and customer requirements, operate equipment such as Dump Truck, Skid Steer, 972 Loader, Water Truck, scissor lift and manlift, repair chutes and pulleys, log SAP Maintenance Notifications, safely unplug a silo, maintain housekeeping and vegetation cleanup, consistently complete daily task list. Attributes Manufacturing background Strong customer service skills Basic mathematical calculation ability Shift availability seven days a week, including holidays and overtime Effective communication with supervisors, managers, and peers Multi‑tasking and computer proficiency Knowledge of MSHA rules related to the position All personnel responsible for the facilities’ Safe Food initiative (FSMA, CGMP) Physical Demands Tolerate working outside in severe weather, high temperature, noise, dust Access all site areas including heights up to 80 feet, confined spaces, ladders, stairs, tunnels Lift up to 50 pounds outdoors Endure high and low temperatures Required Education High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
