Work Environment
As a remote-based therapist, you will enjoy the flexibility of managing your schedule while conducting therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. Although this is a virtual role, you will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team that includes case managers, psychiatrists, and peer support specialists, fostering a collaborative approach to client care. You will regularly engage in virtual meetings, case consultations, and training sessions that uphold the quality of service you provide to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments of clients to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs and challenges.
- Provide therapeutic services using a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy, working with individuals, groups, and families.
- Engage actively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless and holistic approach to client treatment.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients in acute distress, utilizing your expertise to manage emergency situations effectively.
- Participate in community outreach programs aimed at fostering mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting resources available for mental health support.

Qualifications
- Must hold an independent license in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
- Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated cultural competence in working with varied clientele and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by different communities.
- Strong organizational skills with a knack for detail-oriented documentation that meets the required industry standards.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in community mental health settings is highly desirable, providing an understanding of diverse client needs.
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in multiple therapeutic techniques and a willingness to continue learning and adapting your methods as new evidence-based practices emerge.
Compensation and Benefits
