School Psychologist - Bergland, MI

Make an impact in a rural educational setting by providing psychological support for students from birth to age 26. This full-time, contract position runs from August 18th through June 4th. You’ll serve a diverse range of students, traveling between sites to offer vital services and collaborate with educators and families. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience working with students from birth through young adults (ages 0-26) Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaborative consultation Excellent communication and organizational abilities Comfortable traveling between rural locations as part of your workday Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support student learning Develop and implement interventions tailored to individual needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to create effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support services as needed Promote positive behavior supports and school mental health initiatives Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with federal, state, and school requirements Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring their educational, behavioral, and emotional needs are effectively addressed This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a rural community, develop close relationships with students and staff across several locations, and make a real difference in the lives of children and young adults.
