Construction labor for Pre Engineered steel buildings

Job Description

The Construction Laborer for Pre Engineered Steel Buildings plays a crucial role in assembling steel structures by preparing sites, handling materials, and following blueprints. Working within small teams, usually consisting of 2-5 workers and supervised by a foreman, this position involves using a variety of hand and power tools, including specialized lifting equipment and welding tools. Occasional travel may be required to various job sites.

Responsibilities

Assemble steel components according to project specifications
Handle and secure materials for transportation and onsite use
Prepare construction sites, including layout and cleanup
Interpret and follow blueprints and construction plans
Ensure load securing compliance for safety during movement
Collaborate effectively with small teams and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in construction labor
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of steel erection and blueprint reading
Understanding of construction site safety and compliance
Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized lifting equipment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
