Bartender

The BartenderThe Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving drinks to guests, and ensuring legal age limits for all alcohol consumption.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintain a commitment to customer service and guest satisfactionMix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages according to recipeMaintain cleanliness of walk-ins and reach-insAdhere to all Oglebay policiesEnsure cleanliness of glassware and barTake food and beverage orders, use POS system to ring itemsEnsure opening, ongoing, and closing side work is complete and signed off on by manager on dutyCount money in cash drawers at end of shift to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate changeEnsure end of shift bank is balanced with appropriate procedures followed in daily dropComplete appropriate trainings listed on the human resources Training MatrixAdhere to Wheeling Park Commission's safety rules and policy; refer any and all safety concerns to department manager, safety committee, or human resourcesInteract with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employeesEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
