MSD of Lawrence Township

Bus Monitor

A high school education or equivalent is required. All monitors are subject to the legal requirements of the IN Department of Education, Office of School Transportation, and School Transportation Statutes. Additionally, trainees are subject the policies described in the MSD of Lawrence Township Transportation Employee Handbook. Excellent customer service, communication skills. Other qualifications as determined by the Director of Transportation.

Reports to: Transportation Supervisor or designee Performance Responsibilities:

Safely and reliably assist students and other school district passengers to and from school;
To obtain the knowledge, skills and responsibilities required of a school bus monitor;
To follow the direction and instruction of the transportation staff;
Other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Transportation or designee.
