American Sign Language Language FacilitatorClosing Date: Open Until Filled Location: Iron Range Quad Cities - Virginia, MN Area Qualifications: Fluency in American Sign Language Knowledge and experience in educational and other interpreting situations Prefer post Interpreter Training Program Starting Date: 2026-2027 school year Pay Range: 23.31-30.17 Position Description: Interpret for students with varying degrees of ASL knowledge. Responsibilities: Facilitate generalization of vocabulary Facilitate communication between the deaf student, staff and other students in the general education setting Support general education staff and students in follow through of techniques for working with a deaf/hard of hearing student after in-services by Teacher of DHH Provide input as needed in the development of the IEP Act as a tutor when appropriate and as outlined in the IEP Prepare reports, in accordance with established procedures and forms, regarding students' progress Member of AFSCME contract.
