Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team in Alton, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine in a well-supported, state-of-the‑art environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of board‑certified emergency physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide efficient and compassionate care to a diverse patient population across all age groups. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency medical care, including patient evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan development. Perform acute care stabilization and interpret diagnostic tests. Perform full-scope emergency procedures within the NP scope of practice. Collaborate effectively with physicians and the broader emergency care team to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with protocols and patient safety standards. Manage patients across the full age spectrum, from pediatric to geriatric. Qualifications Education: Master's, post‑master's, or doctoral degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the CCNE or NLNAC. Licensure & Certifications: Active DEA registration with an Illinois address. Board Certification from the ANCC, AANP, or an equivalent body approved by the Illinois Board of Nursing. Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. Experience: Minimum: 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine is required. Recent clinical experience within the past year is required; new graduates may be considered under a waiver. Case logs from the past 24 months are required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
