Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or another applicable behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Active Michigan full/independent license to practice as applicable to the individual’s profession, as verified through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
• Must reside in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, or related behavioral health concerns in adolescents and/or adults.
• Commitment to working full-time and maintaining a clinical caseload consistent with organizational expectations.
• Completion of, or commitment to begin upon hire, advanced training in a trauma-informed or somatic modality (e.g., Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, or similar).
• Ability to provide telehealth services from a private and confidential workspace with reliable internet access and appropriate technology.
• Commitment to complying with all applicable federal and state laws, professional licensing requirements, ethical standards, payer requirements, and Embodied Wellness policies and procedures.
• Successful completion of all required pre-employment screening and onboarding requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide independent individual psychotherapy services to assigned adolescents and/or adult clients within the scope of the therapist’s Michigan license, education, training, and competency.
• Maintain a clinical caseload consistent with organizational expectations, including a target of an average of 23 completed appointments per week for a full-time position.
• Update treatment plans at required intervals and as clinically indicated.
• Respond to clients and relevant stakeholders within 24 business hours, consistent with organizational policies and clinical appropriateness.
• Attend all mandatory organizational and clinical meetings.
• Complete required organizational, compliance, and professional development training.
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and ongoing clinical development.
• Participate in at least one community engagement event in person per year if residing within one hour of an event.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation is paid hourly, based on the therapist’s approved schedule and compensation structure.Typically, full-time therapists make over $90,000 a year.
• W-2 employment with flexible scheduling.
• Paid for no-shows and late cancellations.
• Health, dental and vision insurance plus 401(k) with 4% match.
• Time off: 72 hours paid time off plus 1 week unpaid.
• $500 annual CEU stipend plus access to 100+ hours of free training.
• Fully remote work anywhere in Michigan, with optional in-person services at our Farmington Hills location.
