Registered Nurse Progressive Care/Medical Intermediate

Schedule: Nights, 3x12 shifts (6:45 PM7:15 AM)

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

License: Registered Nurse (RN)
Years of Experience: 1 year in Medical-Surgical Intensive care
Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
EMR: EPIC
Unit-specific Skills: Telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, titration of cardiac drips, post-cath patient care, IV and PICC management

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in a progressive care setting.
Monitor patient vital signs and manage telemetry activities.
Administer medications and therapeutic treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
Participate in code response and rapid response interventions as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
Orientation: 12 hours.
Scrub color: Navy.
