: HIRING IMMEDIATELY - RETAIL SALE ASSOCIATES - Outlet Location Household Furniture is El Paso's largest and oldest family owned furniture store serving El Paso since 1945! We are hiring energetic and friendly professionals to serve as Retail Sales Associates. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for selling furniture, mattresses, and accessories through outstanding customer service in a fast-paced furniture Retail Sales environment. Sales experience is a plus, but No Sales Experience is necessary to apply! COMPENSATION:

• $10 an hour plus commission

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist customers using the 5 Steps of Selling
• Demonstrate and explain feature and benefits of furniture
• Accurately entering information in the point-of-sale system
• Handling customer purchase paperwork and tracking orders
• Communicating with customer after the sale
• Communicating effectively with other employees
• Help to maintain a clean, orderly working environment
• Other duties as assigned, essential or otherwise

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a CAN-DO attitude
• Must be 18 years or older
• Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language
• Bilingual a plus!ck shelves and merchandise displays as needed

• Upsell additional products and accessories to enhance the customer's experience
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in wireless or electronics sales
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Strong sales and upselling abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and inventory
