As a OneFDOT team, we serve the people of Florida by providing a transportation network that is well planned, supports economic growth, and has the goal of being congestion and fatality free. Responsibilities Assist with managing the administrative functions of the Right of Way office such as purchasing, inventory, training, budget, revenue, invoicing and personnel related matters. Perform special projects and statistical research requiring research of Department records, compiling data, and exercising independent judgment. Serve as delegate to the District Right of Way Manager for email, calendar, and Workplace Contingency Plan data. Process various invoices related to all phases of the eminent domain process, including Land Agreements, Relocation Claims, and Clerk of Court payments in accordance with F.S. 215.422, and use RWMS and CFM for contracting responsibilities and miscellaneous invoices. Serve as Warrant Control Office to ensure warrants are received, secured and delivered in compliance with Florida Statutes and FDOT procedure. Provide assistance to staff in clarification of policies and procedures in personnel related matters. Serve as People First Timekeeper. Act as Unit Custodian, maintaining accurate records and inventory for all cost center tangible property, conduct annual inventory and ensure policies and procedures are followed. Serve as Unit Training Coordinator to coordinate and assist with training needs, scheduling of District Rotation program, District High School Cohort programs and the Professional Engineers Trainee during Right of Way phases. Monitor office supply needs and purchase supplies, secure travel‑related lodging, training/conference fees and other miscellaneous purchases for Right of Way staff with State PCARD; assist staff with preparing travel authorizations and reimbursements in STMS. Serve on and support administrative support and special events committees such as Safety Coordination, New Employee Orientation, and Awards and Recognition. Qualifications Two years of administrative or clerical experience. Knowledge of administrative principles and practices. Knowledge of office procedures and practices. Skill in reading, interpreting, communicating applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to collect data related to administrative functions such as human resources, purchasing or report writing. Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Responsive to emergency situations within a very short timeframe; serve in Transportation Emergency Management Team.
