Job Responsibilities

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy strategies that enable them to reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven practices to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills
• Engage with Integrated Care Teams: Collaborate intimately with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their families about therapy methods to facilitate continued advancement at home
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing professional development or advanced certifications welcomed and encouraged

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
