Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, the Spire network spans the Northeast with more than 165 physicians, 1,800 employees, 285 other clinical providers and 40 locations in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.What You'll Do:Responsibilities/Duties:Answering and triaging incoming calls.Check in patients for their appointments (verify insurance information, referrals, demographics, etc).Covering charts (last office note, diagnostic test results, lab results, etc).Verify insurance eligibility.Collect copayments and outstanding balances (batch and balance at end of day).Verify that all test results and office notes are available for the patient's appointment.Bring patients to exam rooms if needed.Cover co-workers' vacation/sick/personal time.Perform closing tasks (stay with a co-worker until the providers are finished) in the office once every other week.Other duties as assigned by managers and leads.QualificationsWho You Are:Qualifications:High School diploma or GED Required.One-year medical office experience.
