Military Admin Analyst - Pentagon (Arlington), VA

Position Description & Qualifications As a Military Admin Analyst , you work on the forefront of the Surface Navy’s cutting‑edge shipbuilding programs. You will be supporting the integration of advanced technology and new ship concepts into the Navy’s programming and budget process. This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain and transfer your active Secret security clearance. Responsibilities Provide on‑site support, strategic analysis, and integrated support for N96 in accordance with DoD program requirements management and acquisition oversight policies and strategies for LCS and Frigate Programs on site in the Pentagon (Arlington, VA). Prepare and provide required documents for branch leadership, including daily calendars, AHC slides, and weekly materials. Manage and maintain taskers within SharePoint to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Act as knowledge Manager for the team. Coordinate AHC meeting invites and distribute timely updates and reminders. Oversee SharePoint content to ensure it remains current, organized, and accessible. Coordinate scheduling of meetings and PFPA visits in support of team operations. Assist in the analysis of alternative processes, meetings, reporting and briefing requirements. Prepare white papers, concept papers, technical reports, meeting summaries, briefs, outlines, draft reports and publications and documentation to support Flag level technical and financial briefings/meetings and major milestone decisions. Attend and provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Special Advisory Boards, and off sites. Attend conferences as the N96 Navy representative on assigned programs as required. Review, develop, and update program specifications, guidance documents and technical documentation. Maintain daily liaison with Section Head and Branch leadership. Qualifications An active DoW Secret security clearance. A U.S. citizenship is required. A Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of hands‑on experience in performing operational functions and applying mission‑associated concepts, policies, requirements processes, and program guidance. or an Associate’s degree and seven (7) years of experience. or a High‑School diploma/GED and 9+ years of experience. The knowledge of PPBE. The ability to produce briefing slides, metric charts, program schedules, and organizational charts. Proficient in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. The ability to travel 10%. Additional Experience Support staff experience at OPNAV, NAVSEA, Program Executive Offices (PEOs)/Program Offices, or Navy Surface or Air Warfare Centers directly supporting ships and shipboard systems. Experience includes regular interactions with staff and senior leadership internal and external to affiliated organization. Knowledge of development in surface combatants and unmanned surface vessels.
