The patients in this area require progressive close monitoring as they are at high risk for status changes. The Registered Nurses on this unit create, nurture, and sustain a healthy work environment with a focus on the patient, where staff members take ownership of decisions in which top quality outcomes are achieved./ppOn this 11-bed unit, Registered Nurses primarily care for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis and shock, heart failure, renal failure, stable post-op ENT surgeries, and stroke.
