CDL-A Truck Driver w/Tanker & Hazmat Dedicated Cryogenic $85-$110K/1st Yr (Full Time) Class A CDL Truck Drivers with hazmat and tanker endorsement are hired to run dedicated cryogenic accounts. Training is provided for those without cryogenic experience. Applicants must contain valid tanker and hazmat endorsements at the time of application. Compensation First‑year pay ranges from $85,000‑$106,000, based on a starting pay of $300.30 per day. The daily rate increases by $3 every six months until it caps at $324 per day. Drivers who train new hires in cryogenics earn an additional $100 per day. Training Program Training is conducted on a shadow basis: you drive your truck while your trainer drives theirs. No double‑bunking occurs. Duration is paid at $125 per day plus a $1,000 bonus upon completion of training. All trucks are 579 Pete’s with automatic transmissions and no slip seating. Benefits Full benefits start after 60 days of employment and include a week of vacation in the first 52 weeks, comprehensive medical coverage, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. Job Requirements At least one year of OTR or regional driving experience within the last three years. Clean or relatively clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). No more than five Class‑A CDL driving jobs in the last five years. Valid tanker and hazmat endorsements at the time of application. Qualifications Must be willing to operate in all 48 states; opting out of any region is not permitted. Familiarity with dedicated regional or local accounts. Eligible to travel home for breaks: the company pays for the flight home and return flight; drivers may drive the truck home within 200 miles. Maximum home time is seven days per break, and traveling may be more than 21 days out with less than seven days home, unless vacation days are taken. Disqualifying Factors Any felony convictions exclude a candidate from consideration. Failure or refusal to complete a DOT drug test, regardless of SAP completion, results in disqualification.
