Physical Therapist (PT)

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists (PT) in Bergen County, NJ.

This position requires you to conduct on-site visits on a case-by-case basis, including travel to private residences, group homes, and other community settings as required.

Overview

The Physical Therapist will provide specialized care to individuals with disabilities. This role focuses on enhancing mobility, independence, and quality of life through personalized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Assess patients’ physical abilities and create individualized therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
• Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatments as needed to achieve patient goals.
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercises and strategies for continued improvement.

Qualifications of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid state PT license.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

Therapy sessions may occur in clinics, homes, schools, or community settings.
