Financial Analyst

Identify areas of concern and opportunity across strategy, finance and operations Recommend corrective actions by analyzing results, variances, and trends Provide financial analysis of sales, cost of goods sold, contribution margins, cost center spending, expenses, and capital expenditures Reconcile balances and transactions by comparing and correcting data Assemble and summarize data and prepare reports and presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Create and support financial models for “what if” scenarios Calculate and assess returns on investments for new projects and opportunities Support quarter-end and year-end reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors Implement process improvements and efficiencies, develop automated applications, eliminate duplications, and coordinate information requirements Assist with ERP system upgrades and implementations Support other financial and accounting projects as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance required Knowledge of core accounting principles, practices and financial concepts Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills SAP FI/CO experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience as a financial analyst Ability to work in the Pasadena, TX or West Valley City, UT office Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making.
