Serene Paths Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our expanding team, focusing on delivering high-quality mental health services in a remote work setting. This position is full-time, allowing professionals to provide psychotherapy services to patients within a compassionate hospice care framework from the comfort of their own homes, based in Orange, California.

Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Serene Paths Psychotherapy, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand patients' mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans based on established best practices. \n
- Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions that address specific client concerns. \n
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, ensuring a seamless flow of information and quality care. \n
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate and enhance patient care. \n
- Participating in regular case consultations and peer reviews, focusing on continuous improvement in service delivery and care outcomes. \n
- Providing education and support to patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources. \n
- Staying informed about the latest developments in the field, actively integrating new knowledge into your clinical practice. \n
You will primarily work with patients facing diverse mental health challenges during a critical phase of their lives. Qualifications\nTo excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program. \n
- A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. \n
- At least two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services, preferably within a hospice or palliative care setting. \n
- Strong knowledge of solution-focused interventions and therapeutic techniques relevant to hospice care. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse populations. \n
- Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address complex patient needs. \n
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment that values diverse perspectives. \n
While not mandatory, candidates with experience in hospice care, grief counseling, or working with terminally ill patients will be highly favored. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote clinical practices is also a valuable asset as we continue to integrate technology into our services.
