Customer Service Rep

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Customer Service Rep to join their team. As a Customer Service Rep, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the sales and customer relations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and interpersonal skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Watertown, NY

Pay Range: $23hr

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Enter customer sales orders accurately into SAP system
• Negotiate and resolve customer issues efficiently
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and shipment status
• Ensure orders are correct and processed timely
• Develop reports and assist management with customer account updates
• Assist customer account managers in the development of price quotations and annual contracts. Develop a thorough understanding of NYAB / KBL contract review and PLUPS requirements.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of customer ordering systems (customer reports, lead time requirements, forecast tools, delivery performance metrics, etc.) through customer contact, visitations, use of customer web portals, etc.

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in business or related field, required
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, required
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
