Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies to aid in their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations to stay updated on best practices and contribute to team development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Happy Habits, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including couples dealing with relational conflicts, families navigating systemic challenges, and individuals facing mental health disorders. Your role will focus on enhancing family communication, resolving conflicts, and providing therapeutic interventions necessary for lasting change.

Qualifications

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential for this position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport and trust with clients.
• A compassionate, empathetic attitude is necessary to support clients through their personal struggles.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and additional certifications.
