Recreational Gymnastics Coach - New Gym Opening

Whether you have experience in gymnastics, martial arts, or other sports—or you're brand new but eager to learn—we'll provide the training you'll need to succeed in our supportive and uplifting environment. As a Recreational Gymnastics Coach, you'll bring the energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement that makes every class an unforgettable experience. You'll lead safe, high-energy gymnastics classes for athletes of all ages and skill levels—always with a smile and a supportive spirit. With positivity and structure, you'll help kids develop confidence, coordination, strength, and teamwork, while inspiring them to discover the joy of movement. Key Responsibilities Instruct weekly gymnastics classes for preschool, beginner, and intermediate-level athletes. Create a welcoming and supportive class environment aligned with Dominique Dawes Academy's philosophy of holistic child development. Follow class plans, skill progressions, and safety protocols provided by the academy's leadership team. Provide age-appropriate instruction that challenges athletes while encouraging progress and fun. Offer verbal and physical spotting and corrections to ensure skill development and safety. Positively engage with parents before and after classes to provide feedback and build community. Maintain a clean and organized training space and assist in setting up/taking down equipment as needed. Monitor athletes closely and respond promptly to injuries or safety concerns, following gym protocols. Collaborate with teammates and management to ensure smooth class transitions and rotations. Attend required staff training sessions, team meetings, and seasonal evaluations. Represent the academy's values of respect, teamwork, and excellence in all interactions. Perform other duties as assigned.
