Job Summary The Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro‑intensive care unit. The team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, and neuro‑intensivist physicians who work closely with neurosurgery and neuro‑interventional teams. Job Requirements Board certified and licensed Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate. National Provider Identifier (NPI) completed before employment and meeting Medicare billing requirements. Current DEA registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and state‑issued prescribing authority. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS). Preferred 1 year of neuro‑critical care experience as an NP or PA; neuro‑ICU experience as an RN is also accepted. Job Details Night shift (rotating). Some weekend hours required.
