Exciting opportunity available for a motivated Speech‑Language Pathologist to make a difference in young learners lives for the 2026‑2027 school year! This contract position supports elementary and pre‑kindergarten students, where you’ll play a crucial role in fostering communication skills and helping students achieve success in the classroom and beyond. Work begins in August 2026 and extends through May 2027, offering a stable, rewarding assignment. Caseload will consist of approximately 50‑60 students, allowing you to build meaningful connections and see your students progress firsthand. The position is fully on‑site, ensuring hands‑on collaboration with educational staff and direct therapy services whether in a 1:1 environment or group settings. You will also work closely with special education teams and families, supporting student growth through comprehensive student services. Desired qualifications and experience: Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license for the state of Kansas (CCC certification required) Experience in school‑based settings, especially elementary and early childhood Strong skills in Medicaid billing procedures Ability to independently write, manage, and attend IEP meetings Competence in conducting speech/language assessments and managing a diverse caseload Core Responsibilities: Provide therapy to elementary and some pre‑k students (1:1 and group) Complete required documentation, including Medicaid billing and progress tracking Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with teachers and parents Conduct testing and evaluations as needed Maintain effective communication with school staff and families This position offers the chance to directly impact students communicative development in a supportive and resource‑rich setting.
