Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2227.68/week - Job Summary: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. They ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby through comprehensive clinical support and monitoring. Responsibilities: Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to assess progress during labor. Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers. Educate patients on labor, delivery processes, and postpartum care. Collaborate with obstetricians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Prepare delivery rooms and assist during labor, delivery, and emergency situations. Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records. Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Minimum of 1-2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience. Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and infection control skills. Ability to react swiftly and efficiently in emergency situations.
