Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed
Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy
Educate patients and families about respiratory care techniques
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
Respiratory therapy certification (e.g., CRT, RRT)
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
