Line Cook – Hai Hospitality Hai Hospitality (Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba) is seeking Line Cooks to serve as an essential member of our kitchen team, creating exceptional dining experiences for guests. Responsibilities Assist in kitchen operations, including preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to meet the high standards of our upscale restaurants. Basic Qualifications Effectively communicate with guests and other employees. Detect safety issues and comply with safety guidelines and standards. Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs; restock inventory. Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas. Work in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments. Adapt to varied temperatures, both hot and cold. Move tables and chairs to reconfigure seating. Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and knives. Maintain a neat, organized workspace and clean surfaces. Respond quickly and efficiently to customer needs. Work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area. Tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors. Maintain a professional, hygienic appearance, proper uniform and grooming. Understand directives and communicate effectively with leadership and coworkers.
