Job Title: Press Brake Operator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to support our sheet metal fabrication operations. The successful candidate will expertly handle press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts in alignment with engineering specifications and production requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal parts.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production documents.

  • Select tooling and assist with setup activities under supervision.

  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Measure and verify finished parts using precision measuring tools.

  • Make routine machine adjustments as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of press brake operating experience.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

  • Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

  • Basic understanding of tooling and machine setup.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience operating Amada, Cincinnati, Bystronic, or similar press brake equipment.

  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.

  • Experience performing first-piece and in-process inspections.

  • Ability to use measuring devices accurately.

  • Good mechanical aptitude.

  • Strong work ethic and attendance record.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

Employees will initially work on-site in TX until the new facility becomes operational. While assigned to this location, employees will receive an additional $2.00 per hour travel premium. The work environment involves utilizing CNC and manual press brakes and adhering to lean manufacturing principles. It requires standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed. Safety procedures and housekeeping requirements are strictly followed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rowlett, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $56160.00/yr.
