EHS Specialist (2nd Shift) [AS-14997]

A leading industrial manufacturing organization is looking to add an EHS Specialist to its York, PA facility to support second-shift operations. This person will be tasked with driving a strong safety culture across a mid-sized plant environment, ensuring compliance and protecting a workforce of approximately 350 employees. The role is highly visible, partnering closely with production teams to influence safe behaviors and maintain regulatory standards. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on engagement and making a measurable impact on workplace safety.

The Role

• Champion and reinforce a strong safety culture by coaching employees and leading by example on the plant floor
• Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local regulations while managing required documentation and reporting
• Lead incident investigations, drive corrective actions, and support emergency response activities
• Deliver HSE training and partner with operations to continuously improve safety performance and processes

The Candidate

• Associate’s degree in HSE, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience); Bachelor’s preferred
• Approximately 2+ years of HSE experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, audits, and incident investigation practices
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels and deliver engaging safety training
• Comfortable working in a plant environment with second-shift hours and using standard reporting and Microsoft Office tools
